I HAVE A FRIEND
I have a friend                                                        she listen to me patiently
Who is perfect for me                                            but never judges what I do or say
she listens to all my problems                               she helped with all my problems
no matter how dumb they may be                         and never went away
she likes herself for who she is                             I never once felt judged by her
and never tries to change                                      how much that meant to me
she tells me to be myself                                       that I could tell her all my dreams
and that I should never change                             and she would listen to me
she was shy on the phone                                      my friend never goes and tells
but she would still call                                            what is dear to me
and we would talk for hours                                  she keeps it all bottled up inside
about nothing at all                                                and doesn't spread it like a bee
we would talk about love and life                         I am thankful for that friend of mine
and discusswhat we wanted to be                         our friendship will never end 
she knew just how I felt                                        and she will always be there
and how happy i could be                                      for she is my best friend
